We hope you’ve enjoyed the advent calendar posts this year.
Thanks for your support for my little old LEGO blog. Hope to bring you more LEGO fun in 2012.
See my Christmas message (featuring more LEGO) at my food blog.
Day 24: Santa Claus and a fireplace
Santa Claus has arrived in LEGOLAND.
Sammy is excited to meet Santa Claus!
“I would make an excellent Santa,” Sammy says!
Sammy kindly offers to give Santa a ride so he can deliver the Christmas gifts on time.
Gift delivery by snow mobile means less reindeer poo all over LEGOLAND.
Earlier on, Santa tried riding a skateboard around LEGOLAND, but that was much too tiring.
There are a couple of things you don’t know about Mr Claus.
He loves to play with toilet paper (or snowballs).
And 11 months out of 12, he likes to go fishing.
I’ve had fun sharing these advent calendar posts with you this year. Hope you’ve enjoyed them.
I hope Santa brings you some LEGO!
Day 15: The car chassis
LEGO Group, why are you torturing us with these multi-day builds?!
Sgt Tubbs: “This is why we NEVER purchase assets by instalment!”
Officer Kevin: “But we’re getting a free set of steak knives, Sir!”
At the rate things are going, that frown is NEVER coming off the Sarge’s face.
Later on, Kevin makes a shocking discovery! How will he explain this to the Sarge?
The skateboard burglar has struck again!
It’s all in a day’s work for Bruce. Time for a cuppa!
Day 11: Another piece of the police station
I was expecting more pieces of the police station would make an appearance soon. On its own, this piece (the doorway, I think) is pretty boring.
Combined with the rest of the building (Days 4 and 5), it’s starting to look pretty good.
Day 10: Fishing rod, fish and camp fire
Perhaps this year in LEGOLAND it will be fish for Christmas lunch, freshly caught and roasted over an open fire, instead of the usual turkey and ham.
